Jewelry is not just for women. More and more men are starting to wear a variety of accessories, such as necklaces, bracelets and even rings. Many men are wearing their wedding rings and like most women, they rarely take it off.

It was not until the 40s and 50s when the tradition for giving the groom a wedding band started to become a tradition. When the couple exchanges rings it symbolizes an idea of togetherness, which became popular after World War II. Throughout the years this tradition has increasingly become more popular.

Wedding bands are a symbol in a marriage that shows others the man is married and committed to his wife. Though it has become more popular for men to wear wedding bands, it is still something many take time to consider doing. In fact, many men who choose to wear a wedding band have never worn jewelry before and that is the only piece of jewelry they regularly wear.

Another factor in why men’s rings, especially men’s wedding rings, are becoming more popular is the variety of options available. In the past, men only had of bands made from platinum, gold or titanium with sizes ranging from five to seven millimeters. Some of these bands had a few small diamonds or etchings in them. Today, there are a variety of different options in design, color, metal for mens rings.

With changes in views and options available, more men are opting to wear jewelry. Some wear it as a statement, while others wear it to accessorize their outfits. In fact, since the 40s, more married men are choosing to wear wedding bands.
